Based in Cumbernauld The first two months of the role will be in training and working on the phones, so applicants need to be aware that they will not be coming straight in to lead the team. Shift: Full Time, Saturday & Sunday (between the hours of 8am - 8pm) plus 3 days during the week (between the hours of 8am to 8pm) - based on a 7.5hr day. *Happy for candidates to work Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed and have Thurs & Friday off together* Salary: Ј18.5k + (depending on exp) Free secured car parking, Free gym on site + benefits
Job Description
Oversee and plan daily workflow of the department whilst minimising operational risk through effective management. Support all staff within the Team, through performance, productivity, sales and quality of output. Take ownership of all Marketing Services issues, through retention, service and sales of customers as well as development, retention, attendance and performance of staff.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties 1.Achieving team sales, productivity, quality and attendance targets by setting SMART objectives for individuals. This should involve daily coaching, feedback, assessment, motivation and taking corrective action in a timely manner to address any issues of underperformance. 2. Pro-actively highlight any issues which could positively or negatively affect departmental productivity or success and where appropriate take personal ownership towards resolution.
3. Undertaking adhoc tasks assigned by line manager as required The ideal candidate should have: - 3 years contact centre sales experience - plus 2 further years mgmnt*team leader experience on top of this - Financial Services exp (or understanding of) would be highly desirable - Dynamic, sales focused and strong leadership skills are a must Excellent planning & organising skills with good attention to detail. Strong communication skills both verbal and written with demonstrated leadership ability. Proven ability to communicate with individuals and teams. Proven track record in achieving results.
